Fiji ILLEGAL AG DEFENDS REGIME'S DEPARTURE TAX INCREASE
Fiji's illegal Attorney General continues with his verbal diarrhea and this time his target is New Zealand's largest travel agency, Flight Center.
We all know that the illegal AG does not like to be questioned and what ticked him off was the bad press generated by the sudden increase in the Fiji departure tax from $100 to $150. The executive general manager of Flight Center, Mike Friend questioned the increase saying that it was sudden, unfair and the short notice given was unacceptable. It must be understood that the regime in Fiji is illegal, undemocratic and unelected.
These terrorists and thugs have a free reign and can do whatever they want and however they please to do so. Perhaps the tourist operators in New Zealand can wake up and realise that Fiji is governed by a dictatorship with no regards to human rights or democratic principles.
One of the main reason's this dictatorship is still in power in Fiji is due to the tourist dollar. It is the money generated through the tourist industry that keeps this regime breathing and gives them a longer lease in life. By keeping this regime alive also means that the people of Fiji continue to live under a dictatorship and without our basic human rights.
It is that plain and simple.
